New Qualification

Congratulations to Poppy and Jessica!

Both girls attended the British gymnastics helper awards course in Sunderland on Thursday and both gained their first coaching qualification.

Poppy and Jessica have been a part of the leadership academy for some years now and both girls help regularly with the development of our younger gymnasts.

Who are these new courses for?

These courses are introductory courses, designed for young people who would like to take their first steps into coaching.

Helpers can help clubs by offering support to lead coaches in sessions and creating further engagement with gymnasts. A qualified Helper can assist a Level 1 or above qualified coach or instructor with a group of gymnasts or, they can take their own group of up to eight gymnasts under the direct supervision of a lead coach.
